Macbeth expresses his fears concerning Banquo and Fleance and hints that something terrible is about to happen but does not tell Lady Macbeth.

Meaning/ Context: This quote means that Macbeth’s state of mind is not in a very good place. He is disgusted by his actions and afraid someone will discover what he has done.
